MTOB(More Than One Box) 

Both Kimberly Ming and Rebekah Henderson have come together to create the multicultural mixed family event of the year: More Than One Box (MTOB).

Together, our reach spans across multiple networks including, NBC LeftField, MixdGen, TEDx, and 9news totaling a reach of over 200,000+ viewers

With these powerful networks coming together, there is no stopping the conversation of one of the fastest growing populations within the United States.

Our first MTOB was a success! We couldn’t have done it without our sponsors and supporters and community!

We opened the day with a musical performance by singer Danette Hollowell accompanied by pianist Ken McCorkell followed by well wishes from those who couldn’t be there in person and an incredible keynote by Kimberly Ming.

Award winning Poet Mikena Rene Richardson was unable to make it at the last minute but she provided us with this video of her incredible poem.

Curls on the Block and Chubby Curls were present and and gorgeous and blew everyone away with their projects.

It was a day of celebration and beauty and community. The conversations were thought provoking and reflective.
